Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing in the Greater Bangor Area by building decent, affordable housing with help from its respective communities.

We are so happy to host the 7th annual Bangor Jazz concert showcasing the extraordinary talent of area high school music programs. We enjoy music in the Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary Club and we are proud to encourage and promote local musical talent and to support school music programs and local non-profits.  These area high school music programs are preparing what is sure to be an amazing display of Jazz music for your entertainment.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, the Jazz concert on March 22, 2012 will result in a $1,000 award to each of the four groups that perform and an additional $2,000 for the band whose performance the audience votes to be the best. In addition, proceeds from ticket sales for this event will be donated to the Habitat for HumanityHabitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing in the Greater Bangor Area by building decent, affordable housing with help from its respective communities.

Be it an individual, church or civic group, small business or large corporation, by partnering together we have made huge strides towards our goal. We must not stop pressing ahead however in our efforts to conquer a problem of this importance and magnitude.
